| LYSONIC ARCHIVAL DYE INKS |
The original and still the most archival dye based ink available, Lysonic was first developed for
use on Iris ‘Giclee’ printers for the printing of fine art pieces. It quickly became the industry
standard ink set for the art reproduction world. The Lysonic ink set has been re-formulated to
now be available for use on most 4, 6. 7 and 8 color Epson photo printer models. Independently
tested at 65-75 years life under average indoor display conditions, Lysonic is the ideal ink set for
the printing of art and fine art photographic images, and produces the depth of color and subtle
tones that can not be achieved with standard pigment inks. Users of Iris Giclee printers who have
replaced their machines with Epson wide format equipment can now match the output of their Iris
produced prints by using Lysonic. Another benefit when using Lysonic on the latest Epson
printer models is that it works equally well on both glossy and matte media so there is no need to
change out blacks when switching media. Lysonic inks are supplied in compatible cartridges and
in bulk bottles for use with our range of bulk ink feed systems and refillable cartridges, and are
supported by user guides and ICC color profiles available for download at our support page.
Because Lysonic uses specially formulated, high light fast dyes, it is not mixable with many
standard dye and pigment based inks and so Lyson cleaning cartridges must be run through the
